Dear Parents and Students,

Happy Winter! It finally has arrived…. Maybe. Costume deposits are due the 15th of this month. Please make the check out to Helen Watts and mark on the check that it’s for the costume deposit. A $50 deposit is required for each class. Please don’t include it on the tuition check.

We are NOT closed for Teachers Convention (11/9/23-11/10/23). Classes will go on as usual. Thanksgiving Holidays will be Thursday November 23rd, Friday November 24th, and Saturday November 27th.

The Competition Team will be having another Dance Day in December. It’s a great time for the parents to do some Christmas shopping. The flyers will go out soon! The date is December 2nd. They are also selling MAFA Gear. The flyers are at the studio if you are interested in ordering something. They are selling T-shirts (youth and adult) for $25; PJ pants (youth and adult) $35; and ¼ zip Tops (Adult only) $40. The deadline is before Thanksgiving holiday!

The staff has started to prepare for the June recital. Our theme this year is “Dancing thru the Decades.” Please put the date on your calendar; Saturday June 15th. Students are attending the Associated Dance Teachers of NJ workshop November 5th. We are excited to attend and learn new skills from Master Teachers.

We have started a “Lost and Found” because we have so many things that have been left behind. Please check to see if you have anything in the Lost and found. There are shoes, shirts, coats, and other miscellaneous items.

Student of the Month is: Lily Oliveria. All her teachers are proud of her hard work and determination in each class. Lily is taking six classes and continues to enjoy dance with a positive attitude. Keep up the hard work and concentration Lily!!

Most Improved Student is: Anaisha Bagwe. She continues to work hard and make improvements each week. Miss Christine and Miss Ellen have watched Anaisha blossom from a shy little girl to a beautiful ballerina with desire and motivation to learn. Keep working hard as our shining star!!!

Classes of The Month: Wednesday 5:00 Jazz and Wednesday 6:00 Lyrical. Miss Kathy is so pleased with these young dancers who come to class each week ready to work hard, learn new choreography and push themselves to improve their talent. Great Job girls!!

Thanks for choosing MAFA for your child or children. We hope you will recommend our services to your friends and family. If you have any concerns or questions, we are always ready to assist you. Email or call and we will be happy to help you. We want to do the best job to meet your dance needs with fun classes for all our students.

Have a great Thanksgiving with your family. We hope the holiday brings you joy and love and laughs.
